Château de Mirail 2001 AOP Haut-Armagnac is an exceptional spirit, made from a clay-limestone terroir and a unique grape variety, Folle-Blanche.
This Haut-Armagnac has been carefully aged for 15 years in 400-liter oak barrels, developing a remarkable aromatic complexity.
On the nose, it reveals intense notes of warm bread, candied fruit and toast.
On the palate, it is full-bodied, fat and supple, with a subtle marriage between the vanilla of the wood and the sweetness of the prune.
The finish is explosive, with lingering candied fruit scents.
This exceptional Haut-Armagnac can be enjoyed at room temperature, as a digestif or with a dark chocolate dessert.
With an estimated ageing potential of 100 years, it will delight lovers of exceptional spirits for many years to come.
