A family heritage, an age-old passion

Domaine de Péré is above all a family story.  Mentioned in the book “A proposito di armagnac”, by Marzio Devecchi, “The Dufréchou de Bourrouillan family holds the record for longevity; the year Domaine de Péré was founded: 1552”.

The estate bears witness to a passion for Armagnac that spans the centuries and continues today.  

In 2020, Margaux Dufréchou, a worthy descendant of this very old family of Armagnac producers, joined the family adventure, bringing new energy to this exceptional heritage.

From vine to cellar, an artisanal process

The estate's 115 hectares are planted exclusively with carefully cultivated white grape varieties.  Every stage, from harvesting to vinification, is carried out on site, in keeping with tradition.  

The wine is then distilled over wood in a mobile still, using an ancestral method that gives Domaine de Péré Armagnac its unique character.

Time, a precious ally

Domaine de Péré Armagnacs are then patiently aged in the estate's century-old cellars.  It is here, in contact with wood and time, that they acquire their amber color, complex aromas and incomparable flavor.
