Gilbert et Gaillard 2017: Gold medal. Note 95/100 " Copper colour with mahogany highlights. Pleasant nose with candied, spicy and woody notes, beautiful harmony. On the palate, a racy Armagnac with a very fine texture and a flawless balance. The length is also there. An exceptional bottle".
Sommelier International - January 2013 : " Colour : beautiful light oak colour. Nose: beautiful aromatic complexity. Very cooked prunes, dried apricots, kirsch cherry, a touch of acacia honey. Some spicy notes. Palate: straightforward attack. Scents of mocha and coffee, slightly salty tobacco. Good persistence with a long finish. Food pairing: dirty caramel and mocha ice cream. Comments: a very fine vintage."
